A Bit About Me
I'm Alexa Workman, an advertising student at the University of South Carolina. Originally from Wayne, NJ. I discovered my passion for advertising during a fashion marketing class in my junior year of high school. That class opened my eyes to how creative and strategic this industry truly is, from building a brand's identity to how it connects with an audience.

I'd always dreamed of stepping outside the "Wayne bubble" to explore more of the world, and college felt like the perfect opportunity to do that. Drawn to the South, I toured several universities, but the moment I stepped onto the University of South Carolina's campus, I knew it was where I belonged. Now in my junior year, I can confidently say it was the right choice.

As a junior, I've gained a strong foundation across many areas of advertising from conducting secondary and primary research to full campaign executions. But it's the creative side that I love most. I'm so inspired by brainstorming and ideation. That process of finding a random out-there idea and turning it into a full on concept is so rewarding. I'm especially interested by social media and the way it's reshaping Advertising. How brands connect with people is completely different from the past and it's an area I hope to build my career around.

I'm passionate about advertising and can't wait to bring that creativity into the industry. Take a look through my portfolio to see how that passion comes to life.
